Young Women in Public Affairs Award 2024
The Young Woman in Public Affairs Award (YWPA) Program encourages more young women to participate in public and political life by recognizing a young woman’s (age 16-19) commitment to the volunteer sector, evidence of volunteer leadership achievements and a dedication to the advancement of the status of women.
Applications are available now. Please complete it according to instructions on the application and mail to Zonta Club of Columbia, PO Box 11164, Columbia, SC 29211 by April 1, 2024. If you have questions, please contact Melissa Clements at scholarships@zontaofcolumbia.org. A committee will review the completed applications, arrange interviews and determine the final selection. Our local winner will be automatically entered in Zonta’s district competition, and the district winner will automatically be entered in the national competition.

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship 2024
The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship was established in 1998 from a generous bequest by Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, New York USA. The scholarship is awarded annually to women pursuing undergraduate or master’s degrees in business management.
Our club will be giving a monetary award. The club winner will be forwarded to our district level to compete for a $5000 scholarship.
Please use the application form and return it no later than July 1, 2024. You can either email it to scholarships@zontaofcolumbia.org or mail it to Zonta Club of Columbia, PO Box 11164, Columbia, SC 29201.
